Lackey should definitely return to form after an injury plagued 2009. He is just too good of a pitcher not to turn it around.. Roy Halladay: 17-10, 2.79 ERA, 208 K, 1.13 WHIPCole Hamels: 10-11, 4.32 ERA, 168 K, 1.29 WHIPThe Phillies definitely acquired one of the best pitchers in the league, though they gave up way too much when they got Roy Halladay. Halladay has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the league for a while now, all while going up against the AL East. Now, Halladay looks to expand his game to the NL and bring another championship back to the Phillies.

Cole Hamels had a very rough 2009, but I still consider that a fluke year. Hopefully Hamels will be able to bounce back in 2010 and give the Phillies a great number two option.. Tim Lincecum: 15-7, 2.48 ERA, 261 K, 1.05 WHIPMatt Cain: 14-8, 2.89 ERA, 171 K, 1.18 WHIPThese two young pitchers have quickly made a name for themselves as some of the most dominant pitchers in baseball. Lincecum has already taken home the Cy Young hardware twice and looks to be unstoppable in the future. Cain will look to have a great 2010 season to keep up with Timmy. Felix Hernandez:: 19-5, 2.49 ERA, 217 K, 1,14 WHIPCliff Lee: 14-13, 3.22 ERA, 181 K, 1.24 WHIPThe Seattle Mariners were beneficiaries of this week's blockbuster trade. They acquired former Cy Young and playoff dominant pitcher, Cliff Lee.

This trade could definitely propel the Mariners into the playoffs, and if they get there, look for Lee to be just as dominant as this year.Felix Hernandez is one of many of the top young arms in baseball But, other than Tim Lincecum, he is probably the best. Hernandez proved last year that he was able to control his dominant stuff for an entire season. He will look to improve on last year and possibly make a run at the playoffs.. Chris Carpenter: 17-4, 2,24 ERA, 144 K, 1.01 WHIPAdam Wainwright: 19-8, 2.63 ERA, 212 K, 1.21 WHIPCarpenter and Wainwright were the clear cut choice for the best pitching duo, finishing second and third in this year's NL Cy Young race.
